Originating in 1984 as Sandy Pride\, this community-driven initiative continues to inspire residents to take pride in their homes\, parks\, and neighborhoods.\n\n\n\nEvery year\, volunteers roll up their sleeves to complete various projects that benefit our shared spaces\, from parks and public areas to individual neighborhoods. Sponsored by local businesses and supported by schools and community groups\, this day of service showcases what we can achieve when we come together.\n\n\n\nWe purchase all the material\, you just need to show up with good working shoes\, water\, and gloves! Additional project sites with on-site sign-ins will be available at the Wrangler\, Badger Cove\, and Mt. Jordan Road trailheads.\n\n\n\nHistory:\n\nThe Exchange Club of Sandy began Sandy Pride (now called Sandy Beautification Day) in 1984 to inspire the residents of Sandy City to take pride in their homes and neighborhoods. Every year\, Sandy Beautification Day brings an opportunity to provide service in our neighborhoods\, parks\, and other projects.
