DESCRIPTION:Join us for a very special Women in Business Holiday Soiree. We have an entertaining program planned full of holiday cheer and festive spirit! This will be a great opportunity to make new business connections while enjoying some holiday cheer. Bring a friend and finish out this year's Women in Business with an experience you will always remember! Please arrive by 11:15 AM to mingle and plate your lunch before the program begins promptly at 11:45 AM. Lunch will conclude at 1:00 PM.\n\nOur Program: Special Guest Speaker: Deanie Wimmer\, KSL 5 | Community Guest Speaker: Alicia Gleed\, The Road Home | Musical Performances: Bingham High School's Belle Voci Choir and the Jordan High School Madrigals.\n\n \n\nThe Road Home - Donation Collection:\n\nWe are proud to support The Road Home. Donation boxes will be set up on the lobby level of Hale Centre Theatre during our Soiree.  We greatly appreciate your support and willingness to give back within our community!\n\n\n	Towels (any condition as long as they are clean)\n	New Underwear (any size or gender\; extra need for men's)\n	Baby Bottles & Sippy Cups (new)\n	Lotion (6oz+ size preferred)\n	Razors (disposable multipacks are great)\n	Body Wash (10oz+ size preferred)\n	Shampoo/Conditioner (10-16oz size preferred)\n	Deodorant\n	Blankets (adult/twin-sized and easily washable preferred)\n	Men's Coats\, Pants\, and Sneakers/Boots\n\n\nFor more information on The Road Home\, please visit their website.\n\nAbout Our Speaker:\n\nNadine Wimmer currently co-anchors KSL News at 6pm\, 6:30pm and 10pm. She is also an Emmy award-winning reporter who covers education and leads the station's literacy initiative "Read Today."\n\nNadine moved up the ranks in the KSL 5 newsroom as weekend anchor\, political reporter\, general assignment reporter\, and producer. She was born and raised in Salt Lake City and began her broadcasting career at KSL Television as a University of Utah intern.\n\nEducation has always been important to Nadine. She earned her Master's degree in political communication and bachelor's degree in communication from the University of Utah. She attended a fellows program on education and journalism through the University of Washington.\n\nBecause of her commitment to education\, she is excited about her involvement in the Read Today\, KSL's high impact reading program. Read Today aims to Educate\, Motivate and Celebrate reading accomplishments and encourage families to read together.\n\nNadine won a regional Emmy award last year for her coverage of the Utah Teacher's shortage. Read Today won the Emmy Service to America Award for contributions to literacy in Utah.\n\nIn her free time\, she loves the outdoors and outdoor recreating in Utah's mountains and red rock country. She is often trail running\, mountain biking\, hiking\, Alpine skiing and skate skiing. She's an avid reader and studies Spanish.\n\nHer favorite thing is to spend time with family. She's married to Phil Kirk\, who works in law enforcement. They live with their two boys in Park City.
