Herriman City - America 250

America 250: On July 4, 2026, America will commemorate and celebrate the 250th anniversary of the founding of the United States. Herriman City, the state of Utah, and the county will come together throughout the year leading up to the anniversary to reflect on our nation's past, honor the contributions of all Americans, and look forward to the future.

Stars & Strides Virtual  Run
This commemorative event  honors our nation’s founding through a self-paced, year-long challenge open to runners and walkers of all levels. Beginning in July 4, 2025, participants can choose to complete 13, 50, or 250 miles—distances that represent the 13 original colonies, 50 states, and 250 years of American independence.

The race runs through July 4, 2026 and can be completed anywhere, anytime! All registrants will receive a commemorative medal and a participant T-shirt.
