Join us as we work to ensure girls and young women can achieve a lifetime of success through the power of education! Proceeds from the 2017 Power of Your Purse gala will support the launch of new science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) initiatives for low-income students. The Power of Your Purse gala is presented by United Way of Salt Lake Women United, a group of nearly 250 local women whose mission is to fight for the education of all girls and young women. Find out more at uw.org. With keynote speaker Reshma Saujani, Founder and CEO of Girls Who Code, and a special performance by The “Lethal Ladies of Baltimore,” from the documentary, STEP.
