South Valley Gives: A Taste of Home

Please join us for a special Let’s Do Lunch, as we commemorate America250 through a meaningful service project: assembling "A Taste of Home" care packages for active-duty service members. Spend time giving back to those who serve our country, reminding them that they are supported by their community at home.
 
Working together in an assembly-line format, attendees will help pack care packages that the South Valley Chamber will send to active-duty service members. Along the way, you'll connect with fellow Chamber members while making a meaningful impact through service.

About Our Guest Speakers: 
Channon Foote: My ties or roots rather, run deep within the military. I am a daughter to a Vietnam and Desert Storm Army veteran. I am a Wife of 33 years to an Air Force Lieutenant Colonel in Security Forces, a daughter In Law to a retired Air National Guard Chief and a Mother to a newly enlisted Airman. I have worked for the LHM Group for 15 years. First 4 years at Fanzz and the last 11 years at Prestige Financial. I am also a mother of two and a proud grandmother to a grandson who recently started kindergarten.

Chris Gonzales is the HR Business Partner Director for Sales at Swire Coca-Cola, USA and a Staff Sergeant in the Utah Army National Guard. With more than 15 years of HR leadership experience, he specializes in talent strategy, leadership development, and organizational effectiveness. Chris is a passionate advocate for military hiring and veteran representation, bringing a unique perspective on leadership, service, and workforce development.
