In May of this year the DOL changed overtime regulations that significantly increase the minimum salary required for an employee to be overtime exempt. The DOL estimates: 20 million salaried employees will become overtime eligible, over 7.4 employers will be affected and U.S. businesses will spend nearly $600 million trying to comply with these changes.
