He is passionate about enabling entrepreneurs and building Utah's economy.  He served with Governor Huntsman as the Managing Director of Economic Development for the State of Utah where he led programs to create\, grow and recruit Utah businesses. \n\nPreviously\, Martin spent 13 years in Silicon Valley where he was a Senior Director for Cisco Systems.  Martin graduated from BYU in Mechanical Engineering and from Harvard's Advanced Management Program.  He currently serves on the advisory councils of UVU Business School\, BYU College of Engineering\, U of U College of Humanities\, and several Utah businesses. \n\nMartin also has a love of the ocean and has recently sailed around the world with his family.
