Many local companies have reported that their competitors are investing in this technology\, and see a great need to learn more about its benefits.\n\nDeveloped by the University of Utah Mechanical Engineering Department\, in collaboration with the University of Utah Manufacturing Extension Partnership Center\, this workshop provides answers to these questions:\n\n\n	What is Metals Additive Manufacturing?\n	What equipment types\, processes\, and methods are available?What process considerations are important when adopting this technology?\n	What are the challenges with adopting this technology?Why is this technology important?\n	How do I maintain a system-level perspective when investigating this technology?\n	What are the benefits of adopting Metals Additive Manufacturing?\n	Are there successful business cases associated with this technology?\n\n\nUpon workshop completion\, participants will have a basic understanding of 3D Printing with Metals and how they might use this technology to pivot their business\, strengthen their position in the supply chain\, and promote their company's economic and workforce reliance.\n\nThis event is in partnership with the University of Utah Manufacturing Extension Partnership Center\, University of Utah Professional Education\, and University of Utah Continuing Education.
