She has been instrumental in building company and brand recognition for both large and small companies through public relations\, advertising\, events\, investor relations\, internal communications\, community relations and other marketing channels. \n\n\n\nAt Symantec\, she directed worldwide internal communications programs including manager communications\, customer-first communications and the employee engagement strategy. Prior to Symantec\, Richards was director of corporate communications for Altiris\, one of the fastest growing software companies in the world before acquired by Symantec. At Altiris\, she was part of the team that launched a very successful IPO which was the catalyst for growing the company to more than $250M in revenue in less than five years.\n\n\n\nBefore joining Altiris\, Susan held executive positions at other technology companies such as Legato\, ARKONA and Novell. She currently has her own marketing communications consulting business and teaches communications at UVU. She has a bachelor's degree from Brigham Young University.
