DESCRIPTION:Come and learn\, alongside fellow women in business\, how to effectively use social media in your business.  From Facebook to Twitter\, Jeff Haney will go over the best social media etiquette for business owners.  During the presentation you will discover some of the most common mistakes\, issues\, and wins that businesses find when using social media.  As always there will be time to network with other women in attendance.  Lunch will be provided.  \n\n\n\nRegister Here\n\n\n\nMeet Jeff\n\nJeff Haney is the Director of Communications for the Canyons School District. Before joining the administration at the school district\, he worked for 12 years at the Deseret News\, where he served in various capacities\, including Associate City Editor\, Weekend Editor\, and the Utah County Bureau Chief. Prior to working at the Deseret News\, Jeff worked as a writer for the University of Utah's Office of Public Communications\, the Ogden Standard-Examiner and Weber State University's Office of Public Communications. He earned his bachelor's degree from Weber State University in 1995 and returned in 2011 to earn a Master of Professional Communication from the university\, where he also is an adjunct professor in the Communications Department. He hits the ski slopes at least 10 times per season\, is a member of the organizing committee for Ogden Pioneer Days and enjoys camping at his family's property in Ogden Valley. His 14-year-old son\, Jayden\, plays percussion for the award-winning Alta High Marching Band.
