SUMMARY:Women In Business - Unfamiliar Yet Unbroken with Kimberleigh Collins-Peynaud
DESCRIPTION:Unfamiliar Yet Unbroken: One Woman's Story Behind Strength and Survival\n\n\n\nAt just 44 years old\, Kimberleigh Collins-Peynaud faced the unimaginable a heart attack that forever changed her understanding of strength\, vulnerability\, and survival. Unfamiliar Yet Unbroken is a powerful and deeply personal event that shares her journey through recovery\, reflection\, and renewal.\n\n \n\nThrough nine original paintings\, Kimberleigh brings to life the emotions\, lessons\, and transformations experienced along the way from fear and uncertainty to resilience\, healing\, and hope. Each piece serves as both a visual narrative and a conversation starter\, revealing how adversity reshaped her relationship with her body\, her health\, and her sense of self.\n\n \n\nMore than a story of survival\, this event is a call to action. By sharing her experience and artwork\, she encourages women to listen to their bodies\, advocate for their health\, and prioritize wellness before a crisis forces them to.\n\n \n\nJoin us for an afternoon of storytelling\, art\, and inspiration that reminds us all: even when life feels unfamiliar\, we are not broken and our strength can become a catalyst for change.\n\n\n\nAbout Our Speaker:\n\nKimberleigh Collins-Peynaud is an artist and professional independent sculpture conservator with the American Institute of Conservation. Originally from Houston\, Texas and having lived 13 years in France\, she currently resides in Sandy\, Utah and has for the past 11 years.\n\n\n\nKimberleigh has owned her own business since 2007 and has always loved expressing herself and connecting with others through art\, music\, and language. She is a heart attack survivor and used art to cope with\, better understand\, heal\, and help herself and others to help deal with and prevent heart disease.\n\n\n\nBesides sharing her artwork and story with the community in her spare time\, she leads a bi-monthly walking group called Heart Buddies she started to help patients like herself with continued support in life after cardiac rehab. She believes that the more we connect with others and let them know they (we) are not alone\, the stronger we all are when faced with adversity.\n\n\n\nKimberleigh also loves spending time with her family and friends\, traveling\, exploring the outdoors\, playing Irish flute\, dancing\, and of course\, making art.
