It’s always a shock to learn that something we have taken for granted for a long time is inaccurate, in almost any area of our lives. Management research in the last few years has been unearthing some surprising discoveries about our biases, beliefs, hiring practices, and even our ability to “manufacture” true joy and satisfaction in the brain. These discoveries are putting to bed some widespread beliefs, and in this must-see presentation Lee Lewis will highlight five recent management “dogmas” that have been disproven and will change the way you look at your business, your relationships, and yourself.

Lee Lewis is responsible for AmeriBen’s national business development. He specializes in next-generation benefits strategies to control cost and improve member experience and engagement, and is a regular trade speaker on this subject.
He has served as a lecturer on organizational theory at Texas A&M’s Mays Business School and at BYU’s Marriott School of Management. He is also a published researcher in the fields of Strategic Human Capital and Business Ethics.
Lee holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from Brigham Young University, where he graduated second in his class, Magna cum Laude and with University Honors. He was BYU’s Rhodes Scholar Nominee his senior year.
