South Valley Honors America250 and Active-Duty Service Members
Join us for this special Let’s Do Lunch, as we recognize America250 and honor the commitment of our active‑duty service members. This event brings our community together to reflect on the values that have shaped our nation and the people who continue to protect them.
As Utah participates in the celebration, we’ll highlight the state’s role in the national celebration and share how individuals, families, and organizations can take part in the months ahead.
We’ll take time to acknowledge the dedication of our active‑duty military and the sacrifices made by both service members and their families. Guests will have the opportunity to write letters to deployed soldiers. These notes of encouragement will serve as a reminder that their service is appreciated at home.
During the event, we’ll introduce our upcoming Taste of Home Care Package Project, scheduled to collect through September. This initiative will bring the community together to assemble care packages for deployed troops. June’s gathering provides an overview of the project, what it involves, and how people can get involved when the service effort launches later in the year.
We look forward to an afternoon focused on connection, recognition, and community involvement as we honor America’s 250th year and the service members who represent our nation around the world.
