Breakfast of Champions - With Stem Cell Recipient Shawn Wickard, "Impossible is ALWAYS Somebody Else's Opinion."

Description

Shawn came down with Lupus and a rare spinal disease called Transverse Myelitis which eventually paralyzed him from the chest down. Seven years later he became the first person at the National Institutes of Health to receive a stem cell transplant for Lupus. That transplant occurred ten years ago.

Since the time of his transplant Shawn has completely overcome Lupus. Shawn currently can walk up to a mile a day on the treadmill and on March 7 of this year climbed the stairs of the Wells Fargo Building in downtown Salt Lake, that's 24 stories!
