The American West Chamber Singers is excited to present ROCKIN' WITH THE 1960s on Friday, October 23rd at 7:30 pm and Saturday, October 24th at 5:00 pm, both at the Community of Grace Presbyterian Church, 2015 E. Newcastle Drive in Sandy. This concert of favorites from the 1960s will include songs that capture the free-wheeling fun of this decade as well as iconic songs reflecting the social movements of that time. So GET READY TO ROCK with music of The Beatles, The Beach Boys, Motown, Jersey Boys and more. The American West Chamber Singers, part of the American Symphony and Chorus of Sandy, is a volunteer community-based ensemble of about 30 dedicated singers. The performance will be under the baton of Tyler Kofoed, the Director of the Chamber Singers and Chorus Master of the American West Chorus. Accompanying the Singers will be pianist Donna Johnson, percussionist Rick Hendricks and others.
