Sandy’s Annual Hot Air Balloon Festival 2024!
EARLY MORNING BALLOON LAUNCHES (*weather permitting):
Friday & Saturday, August 9 & 10 at sunrise (approximately 6:30 a.m.)
Storm Mountain Park - 980 E. 11400 S.
Highlights: Tethered rides will be available 50-80 feet in the air! We’ll also have food trucks, free balloons and a morning DJ. (Hot air balloons will launch weather permitting.)
SATURDAY EVENING BALLOON GLOW (*weather permitting):
Saturday, August 10 at 7-10:30 p.m.
City Promenade - 10000 S. Centennial Parkway
SPECTACULAR DRONE LIGHT SHOW (*weather permitting):
Saturday, August 10 @ 10:00 p.m. (*weather may alter start time)

Description
Don’t miss Sandy’s 17th Annual Hot Air Balloon Festival 2024! Enjoy early morning hot air balloon launches on Friday and Saturday morning, weather permitting. Saturday evening there will be a concert, hot air balloon glow, food trucks and drone show! Work hands-on with the pilots as they prep the balloons for launch-- they always need some extra helpers each morning. Show up early for a chance to get hands-on experience.
This is a FREE event to the public.
