Sarah Davies
Founder & Co-Owner, The Piano Place
Sarah Townsend Davies is the founder and co-owner of The Piano Place, the Nation’s fastest growing private music studio. The Piano Place currently has 12 locations from Rexburg, Idaho down to St. George, Utah. With more than 150 teachers and administrators on staff, The Piano Place continues to grow, fueled by its mission to breathe new life into traditional music lessons. Before The Piano Place, Sarah was hired on as one of the youngest ever pianists to be featured at Salt Lake City’s esteemed Roof Restaurant. She graduated from BYU with a degree in Public Relations and worked at a National PR firm based out of New York City. Aside from her passion to help kids learn to love and stick with music… Sarah enjoys tennis, pickleball, pilates, traveling, and listening to podcasts. Sarah lives in Draper, Utah with her husband and co-owner Brady and their five kids which includes one set of twins!
Alma Lopez
Co-Owner, Cakes by Edith
Alma Lopez is a Latina entrepreneur and co-owner of Cakes by Edith Bakery alongside her family. Alma received her Entrepreneurship degree from UVU in 2020 and has since aligned her goals with a career in the family business. Learning the ropes as a business owner with her mother, Edith, has helped her gain knowledge in the field and she has recently been awarded as Business Woman of the Year for Riverton City. Alma has found a passion for cake decorating and has become head decorator at Cakes by Edith while learning to take the role of a leader in the business. Her goals include creating a safe space for people interested in the art of cake decorating and to always taking pride in the culture, traditions and example Cakes by Edith is known for.
Diana Lopez
Co-Owner, Cakes by Edith
Diana is a co-owner of Cakes by Edith Bakery, a family-owned business where she plays a crucial role in managing and operating the company. She graduated with a marketing degree from Utah Valley University in 2022. Through innovative marketing strategies, she has successfully increased sales and brand awareness for Cakes by Edith, driving significant business growth and taking the family business to new heights. Diana is dedicated to the family's business and passionate about utilizing her marketing skills to contribute to its success. As a proud Latina, she is happy to inspire other Latina business owners.
Sadie Bowler
Sadie Bowler is the Co-Founder and CEO of SadieB Personal Care. She has been chasing her passion for hairstyling from the age of ten. She built a successful Instagram following by middle school and was styling for weddings and photoshoots by high school. She launched SadieB Personal Care as a freshman in the University of Utah’s Lassonde Founder’s program. SadieB merges her passion for professional quality hair products with her passion for addressing the mental health crisis of teen girls in America. The brand’s uplifting messaging flips the script on beauty messaging, prioritizing activities, aspirations, and mental hygiene over physical beauty.
