That’s why we were honored to recently support Jordan Barlow, a remarkable young Utah athlete preparing to represent our state at the 2026 Special Olympics USA Games.

Jordan will compete in the swimming division when Utah’s Special Olympics team heads to Minnesota this June, and we couldn’t be more proud to cheer him on.

Meeting Jordan at Jersey Mike's

Our owner and Utah CEO, Jared Twilley, attended a fundraising event hosted by Jersey Mike’s in Draper, Utah, where Jordan spent the day meeting supporters and raising funds for his team. Customers had the chance to hear about his journey, donate to the cause, and witness some of Jordan’s unique talents firsthand — including cup stacking and dice stacking. His enthusiasm and positivity were contagious, and it was clear how much his participation means to everyone around him.

Jersey Mike's Month of Giving

The event was part of Jersey Mike’s annual Month of Giving campaign, which ran throughout March and raised money for Special Olympics athletes across Utah. On March 25th, Jersey Mike’s donated 100% of all sales from participating locations directly to these athletes — a remarkable commitment that we were glad to be part of.

The Utah Special Olympics team will compete at the 2026 USA Games in Minnesota from June 20–26. We’ll be following Jordan’s journey every step of the way and wishing him and his teammates the very best.
