Michael Blackham, Founder and Attorney, BlackHill Law
Michael started BlackHill Law after experiencing firsthand the challenge of being an entrepreneur who could not afford the legal support he needed. He spent a decade working with private equity firms and helping startups raise capital before building a firm focused on clear answers and practical legal support for growing businesses. His experience includes entity formation and governance, S corporation elections and tax structuring, securities compliance, and capital raising. Michael holds a J.D. from the University of Utah S.J. Quinney College of Law, a Master of Taxation from Weber State University, and an MBA from Western Governors University.

Adam Wardel, Attorney, BlackHill Law
Adam has served as general counsel or chief legal officer for four companies, ranging from approximately 100 employees and $4 million in revenue to 800 employees and $350 million. His experience includes M&A, contract negotiation, employment, data privacy, AI law, and supporting business expansion into ten foreign jurisdictions. He was named 2020 Corporate Counsel of the Year for the State of Utah and serves on four boards, along with leadership roles in the Utah State Bar Cyber Law and A.I. Law Committees and the Utah General Counsel Association.
