With speakers Ryan Evans VP of Business and Community Relations SL Chamber and Chris Redgrave, Senior VP of Community Relations at Zions Bank speaking about "Utah on the Move"
Ryan Evans joined the Salt Lake Chamber in 2003 and currently serves as vice president of business and community relations. Ryan is responsible for its highest-level members, community development initiatives and building collaborative relationships with other chambers of commerce and business associations throughout the state.
Ryan also serves as executive administrator for the Utah State Chamber, Board Chair for Special Olympics Utah, he is a member of United Way’s Young Leaders, Salt Lake City’s Business Advisory Board and is the founder and board member of the Utah Small Business Coalition.
Ryan is a graduate of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Institute of Organization Management, a four-year management program and was recognized in 2010 by Utah Business Magazine as one of Utah’s 40 Under 40 Emerging Leaders.
He attended the University of Vermont and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of Utah.
Chris Redgrave is the senior vice president of community relations at Zions Bank where she serves as host of the popular radio segment “Speaking on Business,” heard on flagship radio station KSL News Radio and throughout Utah and Idaho.
In 2009, Redgrave retired after a 20-year career with the Bonneville Salt Lake Radio Group. She was Vice President, General Manager of the group which includes top-billing and top-ranked radio stations, KSL News Radio, FM100.3 and 103.5 The Arrow.
In 2008, Redgrave became only the second woman to chair the Salt Lake Chamber Board of Governors. During her term, she championed business solidarity during the economic downturn and streamlined Chamber operations by overhauling the Chamber’s business development model and streamlining the organization’s bylaws.
In 2009, Redgrave was named the Athena, a prestigious national award presented annually to an active member of the Salt Lake Chamber who demonstrates excellence, creativity and initiative in business, provides valuable service by devoting time and energy to improve the quality of life for others in the community, and assists women in reaching their full leadership potential.
In 2011, Redgrave was listed by American Banker as one of the most powerful women in banking. She is currently promoting Utah on the Move with the Salt Lake Chamber, a team dedicated to celebrating what’s right with Utah and working to strengthen our local business economy.
Redgrave’s philosophy is that if you work hard enough and smart enough, you can achieve anything you set your mind to.
Redgrave is also a board member of the United Way Women’s Professional Philanthropic Network, Junior Achievement, Utah Museum of Fine Arts, and the Salt Lake Visitors and Convention Board. She’s also a retired Log Star at Hill Air Force Base.
