Business Bootcamp - Chasing Impact
Coaching that helps you think less about what you want to say and more about what needs to be heard and felt. If you have a goal to have impact and that impact requires you to move people to action, then this is the Bootcamp for you! Marci Houseman is an experienced turnaround consultant, customer success professional and sales executive with expertise in coaching, developing capacity, and using data to measure and improve outcomes for teams and schools. She is also the owner of Chasing Impact, a communication consulting business. Marci serves her community as a member of the Sandy City Council. Leveraging over 25 years of experience in education and coaching, Marci helps state education leaders identify professional learning solutions that align with the science of reading. Additionally, Marci collaborates with advocacy groups and associations to raise awareness of the need to provide teachers with tools and training that align to research best practices. A regular presenter at state conferences, Marci knows how to help professionals reflect on their practice and determine actionable next steps. In addition to the professional consulting and coaching that she provides in the education space, Marci works with a variety of businesses and organizations as a member of the Sandy City Council. In her role, she has observed a significant gap between the principles of effective communication and practice. Presenters often miss the opportunity to achieve the impact they desire due to poor delivery. Marci wants to change that. As the owner of Chasing Impact, Marci helps leaders and organizations close the gap between research and practice. She has helped education leaders do so for many years and leverages her expertise to help individuals, teams and organizations rise to their full potential in their pursuit of excellent communication.

We have spots available for foursomes and twosomes. Foursomes are $1,250 and Twosomes are $625. This includes 18 holes, carts, breakfast, and lunch. We also have a silent auction and opportunity drawing at each tournament.
Women In Business Luncheon
Every day you are faced with hundreds of pressures, deadlines, and expectations. It’s a lot! And the thought of balancing it all can seem overwhelming. Crystal Maggelet is a CEO, wife, mother, board member, and philanthropist. Over the course of her career she has found a way to balance all of the demands and pressures that come with each of her titles. Come learn what has worked for her in finding that balance and doing it in a male-dominated industry. Crystal Call Maggelet is the CEO of FJ Management Inc., a diversified family business that includes wholly owned subsidiaries: Maverik, a 370 c-store chain and Big West Oil, a petroleum refinery. FJ Management also has a minority stake in Pilot Flying J. Other family businesses include TAB Bank, a community bank, and Crystal Inn, a small chain of hotels. In addition to her current board role as Chairperson of the FJ Management’s Board, she is a director on the Pilot Flying J Board of Managers, a Director on the Savage Services Board, and serves on the Utah State Board of Higher Education, Liv Communities Board, Intermountain Healthcare Board, Salt Lake City-Utah Committee for the Games, and also the Zions Bank Advisory Board. She is actively involved in managing the families charitable giving through the FJM Impact Fund which focuses mostly on education and scholarships. Crystal also co-chairs the Intermountain Healthcare Primary Promise Campaign and is a member of the Sundance Institute Utah Leadership Council. Crystal holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, from Pepperdine University. She also completed her college education with a Master of Business Administration from Harvard Business School and has an Honorary Doctorate Degree in Business from Utah State University, as well as Weber State University. In 2018, she was named the national E and Y Entrepreneur of the Year for Family Business.
