We are next to the new Bee's baseball stadium in Daybreak. Parking is available at the Trax station parking lot, or on Center Field Drive, there is a small lot directly in front of the restaurant.
About Us
Founded in 1959, Hires Big H is a Utah original and proud to be one of the state’s most beloved family-owned restaurants. What started with Don Hale’s vision of a neighborhood drive-in serving quality, made-from-scratch food has grown into a multi-generational tradition. To this day, we still do things the old-school way — grinding our beef fresh, hand-cutting fries daily, and battering onion rings by hand. From our classic Big H Burger to frosted mugs, creamy milkshakes, and crispy fries, every item on the menu reflects our commitment to quality and tradition.
One of our proudest distinctions is being among the few places where you can still enjoy an ice-cold mug of Hires Root Beer, a nostalgic favorite that pairs perfectly with our burgers and fries. We also offer our own homemade root beer extract so you can bring the Hires experience to your own kitchen, backyard party, or community picnic.
Beyond great food, Hires Big H has always been about community. Generations of Utahns have gathered around our tables to celebrate milestones, cheer after ballgames, and share everyday moments. We are thrilled to continue that tradition with our newest location in South Jordan’s Daybreak neighborhood, right across from the baseball stadium and entertainment district.
