Description
Eighty percent of employers report that financial stress is lowering their employees’ productivity level, and it’s costing them nearly half a trillion dollars annually.
Financial stress is on the rise and employees are feeling it in their wallets and at their workplace. In fact, 73% of surveyed Americans cite finances as the greatest stress in their life. So, how does this reflect on their employers? Interestingly, 60% of people surveyed in TIAA’s 2022 Financial Wellness Survey said they’d be more likely to stay at their job if their employer offered financial-wellness benefits.
Wellness in the workplace is becoming increasingly prevalent and generating results that not only affect employee engagement and satisfaction levels but is also proving to increase retention and productivity.
