Sandy Beautification Day is an annual tradition that brings neighbors, schools, businesses, and service organizations together to enhance the beauty of Sandy City. Originating in 1984 as Sandy Pride, this community-driven initiative continues to inspire residents to take pride in their homes, parks, and neighborhoods.

Every year, volunteers roll up their sleeves to complete various projects that benefit our shared spaces, from parks and public areas to individual neighborhoods. Sponsored by local businesses and supported by schools and community groups, this day of service showcases what we can achieve when we come together.

Sandy City is supporting Salt Lake County Dimple Dell Preservation Community with their 10th annual Earth Day Cleanup of Dimple Dell Regional Park! 
Registration begins April 25 at 8:30 a.m. The primary check-in location will be at the Dimple Dell Road Trailhead. Additional project sites with on-site sign-ins will be available at the Wrangler, Badger Cove, and Mt. Jordan Road trailheads.

History:
The Exchange Club of Sandy began Sandy Pride (now called Sandy Beautification Day) in 1984 to inspire the residents of Sandy City to take pride in their homes and neighborhoods. Every year, Sandy Beautification Day brings an opportunity to provide service in our neighborhoods, parks, and other projects. This event occurs each year with the sponsorship of local businesses and the involvement of local schools, religious groups, and other service organizations.
